It's interesting to me how people of color are mostly portrayed in negative ways. Why is this?

Helga. I agree. Do you believe that could be because there are not enough people in the media committed to busting the stereotypes? Ed

You could say that about any ethnic group of teens...even white kids are portrayed as lazy.

I'm not convinced that people of color are mostly portrayed in negative ways. There are times, certainly, and certainly unfairly (that's what stereotypes can lead to), but mostly? Boy, I'm not convinced. --reid
